I have always been a deer and wildlife lover and have spent most of my free time outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying nature. I started breeding and raising superior whitetail genetics in 2002 with the hope of someday acquiring a place where other wildlife enthusiasts could enjoy the fruits of my passion.

In 2016, I was called upon to deliver some of my superior genetic deer to the previous owner of 3 Angels Ranch. I had driven by this property for many years but had never been through the gates to witness its sheer beauty. Once inside, I fell in love with the place. The owner mentioned that he was considering selling, and that set my wheels in motion. At the time, I knew the property needed a lot of work, and I didn’t have the financial means to even consider purchasing it. It was still just a dream.

Fast forward a year, and I had someone interested in purchasing a small business I had built over the previous 15 years at Lake Sam Rayburn. Could this be my chance? That business was supposed to be my retirement, but what about my dream? I decided to go for it. Both deals went through, and just 16 months after first seeing 3 Angels Ranch, I found myself the owner.

Since the day of closing, I have poured my heart, soul, and every ounce of energy into this property, enhancing its habitat, environment, and aesthetic appeal. From the highway, it looks like just another piece of timberland, but once you enter, you will be captivated by its beauty, just as everyone else has been—including myself.

My superior genetics run free on this ranch, whether Whitetail, Axis, or Fallow deer, and I am proud of what has been built over the last eight years.

We have something to offer every outdoor enthusiast—from giant trophy animals and fishing in our stocked 10-acre lake to relaxing at the lodge or exploring the woods.

We are located within one mile of the south end of Lake Sam Rayburn. Beyond the beauty, recreation, and some of the best fishing in the world that the lake offers, the area features many other attractions. Rayburn Resort is nearby and offers a 27-hole championship golf course along with multiple restaurants to satisfy any taste. Outdoor activities abound throughout the area, and there is something to entertain the entire family during their visit.
